Looks like Martin Fuentes and Scuderia Corsa will be returning to defend their GT-A championship.

Not sure if I'm happy about that. Those digital alarm clock displays can really detract from the visual appeal of the cars. It's also really annoying when an otherwise good photograph is marred by those obnoxious displays brightly announcing that your favorite car was running 17th when you snapped the photo.

Hopefully the series goes with the more discrete Blancpain style position panels in the windscreen. That would be somewhat tolerable.

LED display boards are the best thing to happen to racing in a LONG time.

They're so damn useful when you're at the track. Quick glance tells you who's running for position, and who's fighting real hard when they're a lap down.

This is something I want more clarification on. When I spoke to them in October, the live tv was going to preclude streaming. I really hope that is not the case.

F1600, F2000, and FA have all followed suit. Sounds to me like USAC's actively poaching championships from SCCA Pro - I'd bet the reasons given by PWC for the change are a cover story. USAC must really want to get back into road racing BIG TIME.

Hasn't yet been posted here, Darren Law has confirmed that the K-Pax Racing McLarens will be running both Sprint & Sprint-X. Number of cars & driver lineup TBA.

Always Evolving and AIM still plan to enter two cars. Apparently, it's TBD whether Nissan will still support them, but the entries aren't contingent upon that support.

That's good to hear with Realtime entering SprintX too. That's four cars there between the two teams. Should be some interesting battles

Like I've said before, the teams don't actually like Sprint-X. They're only running it so they can race more than 5 times next year.

some do, some don't. I've heard quite a few that are more neutral to the concept than anything else. More drivers are against it because driving solo is cooler and the cars can be setup specifically for them.
