Simon, five years ago a 2CV was among the participants. Regularity and speed are not always the same. There are always some of these oddities on the list of participants.

Its on the list of eligible cars along with Vivas that also did it in period.
Citroen is interesting in that it cost considerably less than entrance fee!
The Irish Viva finished in Competition
At the other end of the scale a ladies team had a problem with their TZ 1 and replaced it with their brothers real Ferrari GTO.Usual numbers of 250SWB,GT40's etc

nout wrong with that . . .just because you have a cheap (valueless is probably more accurate) car doesn't mean you have to go banger racing

I actually love the variety in Tour Auto, just to compensate for the many usual suspects such as the Porsche 911 (in various and many shapes), the Alfa GTA, the Alpine A110 and the Jaguar XKs.
Here's another "cheap racer", additionally there were 5 different SMs, not that cheap.
