Perhaps this years 24 hours of Zolder where the last for the next jears. Only 13 cars in the night and some trouble before the race.

Anyway, here are some shots

Shame! I remember when this use to be a big event.

Nice to see some GT1 cars still running outside of world GT1.

Europe sorely lacks a 24-hour-race solely for touring cars as well as purely production-based GTs. Maybe they should cooperate with the organizers of the VLN, to let the classes up to SP5/6 as well as the V-Classes run. I think that smaller VLN-teams might take the opporturnity to race for overall victory, without the usual likes of Porsche, Audi or Mercedes taking victory.

The two Corvettes from Dutch supercar challenge, Rudolph C5-R and Mad Daring C6.R, only competed for six hours before calling it a day like most of the DSC runners (don't ask me the sense in this). They were running 1-2, with C6.R winning the mini-enduro

I was thinking that the 24 hour series should pick up the 24 hours of Zolder.

In the states its quite common to have club racing enduros like this. Teams that are only entered in the shorter race(6 or 12 hours depending) obviously exit the track after wards.

I think the first 6 hours counted as a round for the Dutch Supercar championship
