Thanks Mike I've been waiting a long while for this and as usual with these things some key cars are not on the list?

No JD Classic TWR XJS?!

No BMW 635's which I had heard were entering?

No Minshaw M3?!

No Patrick Rover in the G1 field?

I have to say considering this is the big one I am a little surprised.

Surely the Jonathan White Rover would be in the invitation class as well. That is not a Group A car lovely as it is.

Aren't JD running the Capri? I think they decided that the PMG Rover is for Goodwood only.

I think Jason M is running his Volvo in the Supertourers. There will be two Metro Turbos. Not sure why there aren't any BMWs though.

3 Metro Turbo's apparently! Some of the drivers not yet confirmed by looks of it.

The Rover ranks are going go be interesting for a few reasons

I guess with so many classes the entry has to be divided up fairly.

The other car I would've loved to have seen in the Beverley Volvo.

It does seem that a few drivers/cars are only doing Peter Auto.

The Javelin is going to be a sight and sound to behold!!

So which is this third Metro, the Bechtolsheimer car, going to be? I'm guessing it's the one that went to Germany for Armin Hahne & Volker Anhalt in '84, and apparently was sold by Volker Anhalt last year

Well, Cliff and I are truly in a class of our own! Guess as a later car / homologation they've classed us as Gp1b, although suspect car is more Gp1 than some of the earlier stuff.....

Nothing less than a class win and fastest lap will do Mike!

If they were smart the organisers could ensure that all classes had no more then 3 cars. Prizes for all!

Yes the one car is the one that came back from Greece or Turkey (can't recall which country!) and yes, the 3rd car is the Anhalt Massa car.

Although nothing is certain in the prep of HF1s , my neighbours should be there with Hartley & Abbott's Arrows, the Ensign of Simon Fish and James Hagan's 308. All on your list, I think.

Not seen one in the public domain, Will.

I wonder if maybe entrants for that race will have it?

It's a shame the old Nissan Bluebird Turbo isn't going to be there to give them a run for their money...

For those that are always thinking of their stomach when spectating (or racing ), found this-

And one of the suggested activities for spectators is 'celebrity spotting'......

No Ligier JS11/15. Not happy as this was a key tipping factor in buying a ticket.
