Actually I don't see the reason to fire Pye from Walkinshaw Racing. He's doing pretty well this year comparing to Courtney.

This exactly, however I do believe JC is "mates" with Ryan.
I think Pye isnt doing a bad job at all and glad he has either 2 year at WP or 2 years in his back pocket

Is that contract rock solid given the huge change in team ownership?

Interesting observations , how close to true we will have to wait and see, makes sense though, but COMMON sense does not always happen.

Given the change of ownership structure and how that happened, you'll likely find that Gow is friendlier with Ryan than James is.

2018 kicks off with a Sydney Motorsport Park test day

Great stuff, hopefully its only available to ARDC members again, that was a great move by Supercars this year.

Interesting to read in AA today... that BJR is looking to move away from Noonan engines to run KRE instead...

That’s a big fleet to repower.. unless its ‘just’ the VASC program running them.

It is logical to have others share the development costs with engines, like BJR did with SBRE (except BJR couldn’t get their cars to ‘work’ with SBRE power..), especially so since migration to V6TT out of KRE isn’t far away...

What have Noonan done wrong? Are they uncompetitive on price or (worse) performance, hence explaining BJR's lack of pace in 2017?

Speaking of the going on in the old SBRE engine shop, are main game spec Mostech engines (as in #12 and #17 cars) available to customers, or are they are DJRTP exclusive now, with customers only able to get lower performing Super2 spec motors?
