With regard to Denis Lian, I believe he was born in the early 1970s, began racing in Australia in the mid '90s in a Group N Subaru Impreza, raced in a Proton in the '99 Malaysian Grand Prix support race and won the 2002 Asian Formula 2000 Championship. Also, I believe he raced reasonably competitively in 2005 Formula Palmer Audi Championship.

Greenback has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Hafiz is a rookie at FBMW Asia. he is a son of a rally driver who used to drive along side with Alex Yoong's father in the 70s. A1GP will be a great learning experience for him and the team.

Singapore are looking to add Christian Murchison to their lineup ahead of the team's launch on the 19th - I thought he was Australian but apparently he was born in Singapore?

Is he any good?

Two Australians on the grid vs one kiwi would not be very good. We need to find a New Zealander who was born in Nigeria.

Hafiz Koh

During the inaugural of the Sepang F1 race in 1999 at, Hafiz Koh was selected amongst the top go-kart drivers to race along side Johny Herbert and Reubens Barrichello of Team Ford Stewart. He was 15 years of age

Hafiz, 22 has also just completed his last race in Formula BMW in Bira Thailand on 1st-3rd September and proud to say that Singapore's flag was flying in Bira because of him. 3 cheers for the Spirit of Singapore

It certainly wasn't flying on the podium. He finished 11th out of 12 finishes in the first race, and 9th and last in the second and third race.

Does this take the place of another country or is an additional car?

New team. Interesting that they've enlisted WSR to run the car, and Murchison seems so keen to drive for Singapore that he's willing to do National Service for the country...
