Rime should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
If this was about money Verstappen would have raced this weekend, they (A1GP) offered him a lot of money to drive.

I heard some stories about Jan Lammers not paying on time or at all related to A1GP and Racing4Holland (LeMans).

Jos is still a professional driver after all and despite some people thinking he should do it for the love of it or whatever, he clearly feels there's a good chance of not getting paid. If this is the case why should he risk anything?

According to Jan Lammers and A1GP he has been paid in full, more than $1 million, although he was paid months late.

The main problem lies in the fact that he got paid very late last season and had to remind Jan Lammers several times that he still hadn't received his salary. So Jos wanted hard guarantees that he would receive his salary on time this season and Jan Lammers couldn't give those guarantees, also due to the fact that the whole financing of A1-GP is a bit precarious and rather uncertain.

So from a mere "employer<-> employee" point of view you can understand JV, but Jos seems te forget that racing is far more then a simple "job", its sport of the highest caliber, and a racer should be proud that he is given the chance to perform in such an arena, should always strive for the highest. And letting so many fans down here in the Netherlands, who have always stood behind him from his early days in F-1, is really frustrating. And besides that, JV is already a multimillionaire, so is he really in desperate need for more money ?

At the end of the day, where would Jos race and/or earn money in 2007 if he doesn't race for Team Holland in A1GP? NO WHERE!

So, now you better hope your Million dollars lasts you a while. Or maybe you can buy a ride in sportscars. lol
