It sucks that only Sky Digital Customers can get any motorsport.

Sports don't grow when on Sky, they only please enthusiasts that's why RW told them that ITV were going to have exclusive rights.

I saw it live on ARD1-here in Lincolnshire! And qualifying on Saturday on HR(Hessen) Amazing that you can only see a British event with German commentry, except when interviewing non-german drivers, when it's in english!

I take it that DTM isn't going to be on Any terrestrial channel (like channel 4 as it was for the last 2 years) in the UK then, it's a pity becase my favorite car (Audi TT) is really competitive now.

Will have to keep a look out for that and hope it isn't raining on the day it's shown. Rain = Channel 4 in B&W here

We all might be struggling to get live coverage of the next round, at Sachsenring. It's ZDF's turn to show it (I find their presentation far inferior to ARD's)and the schedules I've seen so far are a mess, with live tennis scheduled over the DTM start time. The same happened for this round last year, and the DTM coverage began ten laps into the main race. DSF's highlights on Sunday evening might be a better bet on this occasion (the qualifying's still live on HR).

There's an overload of German racing on TV that weekend (1/2 June)with V8 Star at Nurburgring on Saturday morning, followed by 13 hours of live coverage of the Nurburgring 24 hours on DSF. DSF also have an hour and a half of F3 on Sunday afternoon, and somewhere in among that lot must be coverage of the "Top 10" series races on the Nordschleife.

Oh great,I was thinking of going out next weekend!
BTW I think you will find that the single seaters in the 'Top10'package do not run on the Nordschleife.

I saw some of the 'Top 10' series from Oschersleben. They run some odd cars in Germany!

Just seen the Donington round on Motors TV. If you get the chance, it's worth watching, not least for the toe-curlingly embarrassing "travelogue" segment about ye olde Englande.

But of course, Carrie!

Did you know that Donington was apparently virtually a suburb of "Nottingham, home of the famous Robin Hood..."?

Once the excerable commentary is out of the way, it's actually a very good presentation. The race really does look a lot more exciting on TV than it actually did at trackside.

Oooo, oooo, does that mean we can watch it tomorrow night?
The prospect of the travelogue bit sounds too exciting to miss and I suppose there's always some racing to watch as well.

According to the Motorracetime site this is a 6 day meeting starting tomorrow (28th). I seem to remember when the DTM was a support race they raced on the Thursday.

Motors Tv is crackin, But the comentators are rubbish.

At the Donnigton round the commentator announced that Dumbreck and co where in the pits for a stop and go for speeding in the pit lane..........ON LAP 3 YEAH!
Ofcourse it's a stop and go for Jumping the start.

Then when Schneider came in for his FIRST pit stop he let the cat outta the bag and said he was coming in for a penalty for speeding in the pit lane.
Hows this so if it's his first stop!
