You'd be surprised. Anyway, I've changed my mind. It's not going to snow.

15 Caterhams and 8 Monos was the last headcount, I was hoping to have the full list by now but that has not happened yet! I will find out more later...

Ian I got my finals at the weekend. I see we have you coming along as commentator! Shame I won't be able to hear a word you say.

BTW do we know how the work at Mallory is coming along?

It doesn't say that on ours! Mind you, at the bottom of the page it says 'PTO' but there's nothing on the other side! You may, of course, have a different document - ours is the New Era version. Sign-on time?

On our finals it says: 'There are major building works going on at the circuit at this time, so please be aware that facilities may not be as anticipated.'

As long as the toilets and café are still there that's all I'm bothered about. We don't want to be left in the position that they are in at that new station in Edinburgh.

At present there is no race control building/commentary box/stewards room/press box/hostility suite. The structure of the new building is there, and it looks nice, but no walls or services as far as I could see!

Yes, I am delighted to say that I will be commentating so all you marshals can expect a mention

Dave - you will have seen a different set of finals, I've seen the BARC ones. Grids for the car races will be drawn out of a hat - could be 'interesting'.

I suspect that New Era people won't have had the BARC finals. As we are only doing the car bits we have done a specific set of finals relating only to them and sent them out to competitors and car only officials. If you would like a set of the car finals please contact Alan or Noreen via the BARC Midlands website.

Unfortunately, New Era sent all the marshals a copy of the Competitors' finals. Oops!

I hope that marshals will not be classed as 'car only' or 'bike only'!

Yes!! Part of the fun is car people doing bikes and bike people cars. At trackside last year everyone on post pitched in together and we just went straight through the programme just adjusting the track layout, at the Bus Stop, and marshals' positions where necessary.

Can? You will! Unless it's different to last year, there's no differentiation - you're just a marshal.

No, just marshals. The only reason the "car" marshals got the finals from BARC is that we don't have a mailing list for the "bike" marshals. Hope this explains things a bit better.
