V8 Supercar models?

I was in TK Max today and I spotted a Shell Hellix Racing AU Falcon 1:18 model for £6.99! Its in my cabinet just now, but It was the first V8 supercar model I have ever seen, I'm not sure of the make but it does say
Classic Carlectables on it and I think the car is from the 2000 or 2001 season, I was wondering if this was strange to see in Britain.

Finally went in a TK Max store the other day, but only one V8 model was left and the paintjob on it was really bad, the bonnet was all smudged and had fingerprints all over it! Oh well, haven't really got space for any more models anyway...

6.99 pounds? That's ridiculous! Here in Aus a 1:18 car would sell for about $150!

It is a season 2000 model and Its probably cheap because, they think nobody will buy it for such a rediculous price as yours!!!

I suspect, also, it is made by a more budget-pricing orientated company.
