Which Driver would you like to see return to the BTCC? - Page 2

Ok, this is kind of an impossible request, but id love to see Keith O'dor back. When watching the review videos he was always in the thick of the action, and provided us with some entertaining racing. I think he had the potential to be a champion, had his life not been cut short so horribly.

Jason Plato cos he can keep you on the edge of your seats and is a crowd pleaser. Most people go to watch a spin or some contact. JP and Tom Kristensen were good at that. Well TK was good at moaning and blaming everyone else

Rickard rydell. He was always great he always caried on was a great racer and also his outright speed was incredible. Also john cleland and dereck warwick they were both good characters

I absolutley agree. The in-car footage from his car during races is plain mean!

Hearing the Nissan Primera in-car from 1993 is pure adrenaline rush

It has to be Cleland. His loyalty to Vauxhall was great and I'm sure he would enjoy himsef in the new style cars!

Yeah, that was amazing-God knows how he survived that one! Everytime we walk past the site i mention it to everyone im with. The onboard is frightening. You can see Keith look to the right as if to say 'Oh f**k, ive buggered this one up a bit!" I also liked the way you could tell if he was upset, with muffled cursing from under the helmet and fingers flying everywhere!

I'd LOVE to see Rydell back!! He's my favourite touring car driver EVER!

Also be great to see Kristensen, Tarquini, Aiello back and y has no-one mentioned Radermecker??!!! I really liked him!

All Kristensen ever did was moan so we don't want him back.

Radermecker would be number two where ever he drove so he wouldn't want to come back.

I would love to have John Cleland and Laurant Aiello back,two such great champions

Otherwise it has to be John Cleland, just such a nice bloke and loads of personality.
