Matt Neal crashed, and JT and Muller both apparently had problems on the last lap...

Thommo got a puncture and Muller got transmission problems bad luck for them but at least everyone else got a chance to get some points.

Here's what happened to Matt Neal. Running with Warren Hughes, he appeared to make contact with the MG, sending the EggSport driver sideways into the barriers at Knickerbrook. He spun, got it going again, and ground to a holt just metres later

Did Neal actually make contact with the MG. I was on the infield of Knickerbrook and couldn't tell if he'd just lost it completely under braking. It was certainly a heavy hit on the barriers and glad to see him get out of the car okay.

As for the race winner - wow!!!!! Absolutely brilliant, I'm just so glad that I was trackside to witness that The only drawback - having to rush back from Knickerbrook to see the podium

With Jim Edwards also taking second place in production right on the last lap from Simon, it was certainly a fantastic race!!!!

Okay, can someone calm me down now. At this rate I'm going to drive everyone mad in work tomorrow by talking of nothing other than touring cars and the feature race

WELL DONE PAUL!!!! Fantastic result, fantastic race. Knew you could do it!

I don't think Matt made contact with the MG. I was on the inside @ K'brook too. Think he just left braking too late - thats what it looked like anyway!

Congratulations Paul! An extremely popular win with all the marshals who lined the track to applaud him on his lap of honour.

Did you enjoy the fire training session on Sunday morning?
