Belgian Procar Mondeo
I was wondering if anyone had a picture of the Ford Mondeo that competed in the 2001 Belgian Procar series ?

Nope, I didn't find any Mondeo. Found the usual A4 and BMW though.

I can't get that last link to work for some reason! If you can't find the Mondeo, go to the homepage and click on the link for '2001 testday on the left-hand side. The Mondeo is the first actual car picture (as opposed to shots of track reconstruction..)that comes up.
There are photos of earlier versions of the car around on that site as well Touringlegend- I'm interested by what you're saying about the car appearing somewhere- Formula Saloons by any chance? I think I've read somewhere that that Mondeo is turbocharged- sounds a bit of a beast..... Last edited by KA; 17 May 2002 at 12:29. |

There was someone who posted a thread a while ago that said RML are evaluating a Mondeo for Tommy Erdos to drive in the BTCC, well that's the car they bought so I am told. No idea if there's any truth in it at all, so if it doesn't turn up, I'm not to blame !  Also I'd have thought it'd have been new shape.

That is not the Belgian ProCar series. It's another series known as the BelCar championship and the car there is a turbocharged ex Super Touring Mondeo. You might have seen it on World Motorsport on Sky before.

Yeah, so I was half-correct, there is no picture of a ST Mondeo, but there is a picture of an EX-ST Mondeo!!
Anyone check out the picture of an equally wild S70?? It looks like it was built to the same rules as the Mondeo. It is under 2000 Test days.
