Chatters, if you check some of the threads on this forum, you will see that there is a lot of interest in collecting model racing cars here, so you are in the right place! I collect mainly 1/43rd and have several hundred (and can't display them all, unfortunately!). However, I'm over 40 years older than you, and I'm betting that if you get the 'bug' your collection will grow very rapidly! Have you decided to specialise in any specific models, e.g one particular type of racing car (F1, Indycar, Le Mans), a particular marque perhaps, or certain types of livery?

40 years is a bit of a head start .

I'm looking specifically for Australian V8 Supercars, usually Holden, but there a few rare Ford models I would like. After browsing the websites I've found a few international cars I would like.

Don't worry mate, the bug is near me now...

Livery? Anything Larry Perkins, or Peter Brock, and I'm also interested in the old HDT cars from the '70s and '80s. Know any websites I can find to help?
