Personally I think it's nonsense that contact is avoidable; it shouldn't be encouraged, yes, but it is often inevitable. The ability of drivers to be able to be aware of evrything that is going on around them at all times is severely restricted - by the position they sit in, the shape of the car, the size and position of their mirrors, the fact that they can't move their heads as much because of HANS etc etc.
That said, I didn't see the GP2 race in question, and, as anyone who has read many of my posts in F3 over the last couple of years will know, there are a lot of drivers out there who do drive like complete ******s. |

Exactly Mathais, contact is inevitable, thats why I see nothing wrong with it, although some people seem to think if it happens there should be loads of punishments! Sheila it is clear that the racing and driving standards were both very high in GP2 at the Nurburgring, not appalling.
