#26 Team Taisan SARD already announced that Tsubasa Kondo (2016 Porsche Carrera Cup Japan champion) will partner Yuya Motojima for the last 2 races of this Super GT season.

Besides racing at PCCJ, Tsubasa Kondo also participates in Super Taikyu (ST-4 class with Mazda Roadster) and 86/BRZ Racing.

Therefore all-PCCJ champion lineup.

That's a very, very good choice. Kondo and Motojima have combined to win 17 of the last 20 PCCJ races since the start of 2015!

In PCCJ alone, Kondo-san has excellent record : 2nd in 2013 standings, 3rd in 2014, 2nd again in 2015 and finally the champion in 2016. Not difficult to say he has the potential to be competitive on the next level in Super GT.

But I've spent almost a week to translate an article.

Since there's a complete review of new NSX and some GT500 CFD in a fresh issue, I think I'll need another free-week to understand at least the most important bits.

BTW, Honda's Nippon Race Engine for 2017 almost reached 2 liters, but what's interesting to me is throttle-by-wire. Still, the engine produces 600 horsepower.

And this year will be the first time #19 is included in the list of the title contender of GT500. Can't wait to see if the team can conquer the Motegi at the next weekend.

Well, having a universal cockpit for both left and right-hand driving is better than getting the left-hand drive only, since it was based on a DTM chassis.

After all, accessibility is also important.

You'd have to completely re-route the exhaust and everything else as well.

Yet that doesn't stop automakers from making special RHD cars for markets like the UK, Japan, former UK colonies and current Commonwealth of Nations members that have stuck to RHD, and several African countries. Should be relatively easy to do on a quasi-spec race car tub anyways.
