Can't help but wonder if Brad's departure is timed to coincide with the new guard at BOC under Linde ownership. New management aren't seemingly as friendly with Brad and Kim as the previous lot.

Almost sounds like a "You go or We go" type scenario, or perhaps "being seen to be doing something at BJR" in the hope of keeping BOC in 2008 and beyond as the contract expires at the end of 2007 I believe - or maybe even under BOC's change of ownership possibly

Given that Mr Jones is in the BOC ads, not having him in the car may be more yrouble for the BJR equipe than not.

There is a lot of work for Mr Wills and his engineering group to complete on their chassis... which they are well aware of and achieving. A bit hard to put someone in with no time in the car and expect miracles (and miracles they didnt get..)

I notice that Andrew ended qualifying over a full second quicker than Simon. Perhaps all the go-fast bits previously on the #14 are now on the #12.

Seriously though, I thought Andy was going to win that first race there for a while.......... a real shame that he got turned around. Brad said that the lows wouldn't be anywhere near as low now that he isn't driving, but I bet that didn't feel too good.........

HRT - hate racing tracks (they really do look at how much they were off it at Winton)

Brad's everywhere around here (albury) he really is somewhat of a local celebrity (for a race car driver)

He advertises Smart Aluminium on the radio (Ok how bout a shopping trolley with a tail fin LOL , anywho guess you have to hear the ad)

he also advertises the local Kart track and the BOC ad's.

He's a busy boy out of the car so I wonder if we will see more or less of him now he isnt driving ?? (meaning locally that is ?)
