BE and the FIA are in F1 to make a buck end of story. road safety or whatever program they are advocating, however noble in its intent, is just a smoke screen while they bleed the sport dry. |

Interesting that the person starting this thread saying that max should NOT be in F1 this year has voted him as DOTR for only his 3rd grand prix.
If the person that should NOT be in f1 is the best then what about every one else. |

He already lost his credibility just by opening this thread but now he's really looking like a fool after voting Max Verstappen as Driver of the Chinese Grand prix. Start already voting again Max for the Bahrein Grand prix

I think the OP started this thread for a troll. But he certainly got people fired up and for that I thank him.

I don't see how someone capable of changing their mind, or at least, not being blind to a good performance because of a prejudice is a fool.

It seems that the majority of people all for Verstappen entering F1 are major contributors in the National and International Single Seaters thread, where amongst other things, young prospects are watched and evaluated... |

There are several aspects to this other than Max clearly deserving to be in F1 on talent:
There is the child exploitation issue F1 finds itself in, one which everyone who watches a race encourages. We need to ignore that he potentially has had more training, race practice, and support than an older person entering F1 back when it was hard. 18 is a number. Which is one more than seventeen, but one less than n n n n nineteen. Then there are the number of straws that have been clutched. |

I think we should all applaud Red Bull for placing young Max in a Renault powered car for the obvious safety reasons...

The idea that it would be an unfair act of tyranny to hold Verstappen back one year if that cap had of been imposed a year or so ago is nonsense. The kinda freakin' out of some people on here over that, is funny.

Hey, I'm pretty sure we're arguing that Verstappen deserves his place in F1, not that pegging him back 1 year is unfair...

Paradise City has only ever maintained one position on Max Verstappen and has never wavered from that position - that MV deserves to be in F1. Don't misrepresent me now.

How is Mike's post wrong? "But Paradise City thinks that he is too young because he believes that the FIA thinks that it sends out the wrong message to the public. He seems to be fighting a lonely battle. " Last edited by wnut; 20 Apr 2015 at 01:16. |
