Brands Hatch without a doubt, challenging with some spectacular corners, not easy to drive but beautiful to look at.

Donington is the second best, though Thruxton deserves a shout too, if only for corners like church!

Thruxton.

There simple!

I finf Donington boring so it doesn't deserve the title as best track.

Behind Thruxton, Brands GP and Oulton are a close second and thrid.

Where's Mallory Park? I like that one

Edit - Oops, didn't realise I was in the BTCC forum...

Well, as we've got Rockingham and Cadwell in the poll, I'll stick this in the trackside forum rather than just limiting it to BTCC
Richy_Rich, calm down, being in the Touring Car forum isn't really such a big shock I'm sure

I'm going to opt for Oulton, definitely my favourite for photography

I've voted for my favourite circuit which I've raced on.. Which has to be Cadwell Park, although notable mentions go to Croft and Oulton Park. I haven't yet had the opportunity to race at Brands or Rockingham, but guess that they'll feature quite highly up there...

dare I say it - Knockhill - I just love the relaxed atmosphere (for a fan that is!) and the weather always causes great racing.

I voted for Brands Hatch, a cracking circuit to marshal, however if Lydden Hill had been there that would have taken an equal vote.

Can't vote 'cos I like em all for different reasons. Cadwell is where I've had my biggest accident so far and got wins and fastest laps (including I recall a record at the time).

Thruxton is great fun and although I've never really done well there I get a lot of satisfaction from getting Church right.

Brands GP is a long distant memory. Indy is ok and Paddock is tremendous fun.

I rarely go to Oulton (or Combe) so those two only form a small part of my experience. Last race at Oulton was good even if it could have been better, and I performed possibly my best overtaking move ever at Combe on the outside of three cars through the last corner before the pits in the wet in '99. Sadly two laps later I spun off but it was fun.

So I can't give you a favourite GB circuit, sorry.

Depends on what element you are assessing. Best spectator track? Donington or Thruxton or even Rockingham. Friendliest? Probably Mallory, Castle Combe or Knockhill. Best for racing? Rockingham, Brands.

You've forgotten Pembrey, Anglesey, Castle Combe and Oliver's Mount for the poll though.

Hmm, it's a tricky one, but I'm going to go for Cadwell Park. Although it works best as a bike track, it is great fun to watch cars on. Also love Thruxton and Castle Combe, and tracks like Brands Hatch and Knockhill are also fun.

Not a big fan of Silverstone (concrete jungle) and Donington, which rarely seems to have exciting racing....

Croft is amazing to drive on. It has Daddy corners and baby corners, loads of variation, i have driven on nearly all of those on the list but Croft stood out for me by a mile. Couldnt stand Snett, Boring as hell with a really silly last corner. Rockingham stinks too.

Snetterton. but then i only live a minute down the road from it.
Mr St Hubbians how dare you call Russell Chicane a "silly" last corner. spectator wise its an ausome corner with races won and lost on it on the last lap, always loads of action going on there. oh and its where i stand every meeting, on the outside, so all drivers please give me a wave. (i need so feel special)

Cadwell is such a tremendous driving challenge, has so many (so different) corners, is tight and narrow, the car takes off, it's picturesque.

Cad really is the closest think you'll get to the old Nurburgring this side of the minch, apart from maybe the IoM TT course.

Make it a bit wider, build a proper paddock and have a GP there I say!

What always surprises me is that they get 30,000 people into Cadwell for the SuperBikes! Whenever I've been there, there's always been less than 1,000 (roughly), so I look at the track on the TV and think "is that really the same circuit?"

I'm with JR - make it a bit wider, and get more car events there - although not F1 - they'd just have another excuse not to overtake one another.
