which brings it into line with the amount of time it takes to get to the circuit in quite a few of the countries which hold races near to the big cities - isn't hungary and turkey a major problem for that?
it seems to be there's a smear campaign being run by all these poor babies in f1. the venue has been approved by the fia and just like the commonwealth games, now is the time to shut up and get on with it.
as for the journo stuck in the dodgy hotel, do your research better next time...

According to Autosport, the drivers really like the S. Korean track.

It seems the main worry now is not the breaking up of the track but the expected ultra slippery surface due to the tarmac still 'bleeding oil' not having yet had the time to cure.
As Robert Kubica said, "Although we are prepared for slippery conditions, I think it will be even more slippery than we think"

The lack of adhesion was in evidence during Thursday's safety car reconnaissance laps, when Bernd Maylander ran off track as he tried out different lines.

A little cloudburst over one part of the track would make life (and the race) interesting.

A number of people posted their concerns about the track not having time to cure. A cloud burst will be interesting as will be the first practice session.

The acres of tarmac run off will save them.
