I will be at home. In bed. Warm. Comfortable. Watching cartoons!

I'll be thinking of you standing out in the freezing cold and probably freezing sleet/hail/snow/comets/meteorites/blocks of wee wee ice from plane toilets etc.

I shall probably laugh

Seriously - enjoy

Brings to mind a film starring Michael Caine and Sean Young called "Blue Ice". At the beginning, there is a funeral scene where a person who has been struck by Blue Ice is being buried. The Blue Ice originated from an aeroplane. Now why wasn't the film called "Yellow and Brown Ice"..............

Yes, and I remember the last time a BRSCC end of year meet coincided with BST finishing, and in weather very like that forcast for this week-end. Unfortunately, the programmer set the timetable for qualifying and racing, forgetting it would go dark. In the last race this Alfa spun at the Old Hairpin. We knew this because his headlights went red and then white again. At least I think it was an Alfa, because it was an Alfa race, but who knows?

Made it on Saturday. Great racing, though two hours is a bit long for radicals.

Sunday, though, whoops. No I'm not a wimp who won't come out when it's cold and raining. We obviously lost power during the storm overnight, so the alarm reverted to 12:00 and stayed there. Eventually woke up at 9:45...

See you all next season.

It was fun watching the recticel barriers sail across the gravel at post 38 with 4 marshals hanging on for dear life. It was fun sitting in the press office watching the teams stand on the pit wall and shiver. It was even fun organising bets on impromptu 'wheelie-bin' races across the infield.

It was not fun watching a 2-hour radical race with 15-odd cars..... BRSCC take note, spectators do not want to see 2-hour clubbies. Also take note, how many extra races could you have put on in place of that snoozathon?

One question? Why did the Formula Flawed drivers get three qualifying sessions? surely the three laps behind the pace car was sufficient? I would have thought that if anyone needed an extra session it would have been the F3's.

I agree with you Neil, two hour Radical races are a real turn off for me. One hour is too long, maybe 45 minutes at best with a driver change half way?
