"Next year will see regional series in Britain and Central Europe being launched, while the FFSA GT remains largely unchanged. Plans for a GT4 championship in Spain and Portugal are being considered."

GT4 in 2018
SRO will organise the aforementioned ‘semi-independent’ British GT4 Cup in 2018, as well as a French GT4 Cup, Central GT4 Cup and potentially a Southern GT4 Cup (covering Spain and Portugal) and a German GT4 Cup (breaking away from the Central Cup and possibly taking place on ADAC GT Masters race weekends).

Franchise agreements have been signed allowing full GT4 classes in Australian GT and Creventic events, alongside existing similar agreements with China GT, IMSA, Pirelli WC and VLN.

Finally, a GT4 European Final event at Portimao in November 2018 is under consideration.

fausto should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Porsche Motorsport and Manthey Racing were out in Monza last weekend, testing a couple of Cayman GT4 (plus a 911GT3CupMR and a test mule apparently based on the GT3 Cup), judging by the engine sound #4 powerplant should have been turbocharged. Same car featured a different wing, attached on the upper surface and modified front bumper, with a deeper central lips, larger side intakes with outlets located just on the wheelarch edge
