They will not be at Lydden.
Chris won't race at that track and Bardy's car won't be ready until about August time.
Chris will have the car at the RSS test day, then the 2nd round of the Iirhs champs at Mondello on 23rd April and providing everything works he will do the 2nd round of the BRC the next day April 24th.
He will then be at Croft along with Holfeld, Bell, McCann, McCluskey etc for the first RSS event, "The English Masters".On the 2nd May.

Why's that? He's always gone well there in the past, it would have been good to see the Astra in action, oh well

I was wondering that as well. For me Lydden is the most fun track to drive in the country.

Well we now know of some who won't be there on the 28th.
How about some positive news from those of you who will be there and some idea of what you will be driving this season

Info from Ireland at the weekend is that McCluskey, Tracey and Carnegie will all be there.I also know that Andy Grant and Kevin McCann will be there as well. Gordon Rogers in Mod's and Dave Bellerby will debut his new 206 at the event.

Two out of Three of the Adlington Caravans team will be there. Steve with the Peugeot and Bryan will hopefully at last give the Saxo it's first outing. Dale cannot race due to work commitments.

I'd expect Doran and Gollop to be there too - it's the 'home' circuit for both drivers after all! (Dorans website mentions Lydden as the competitive debut for the Fiesta).

Will Tapscotts new corsa be ready for Lydden? Motorsport news a couple of weeks back seemed to think it'd be done - does anyone know more about the car? How about Terry Moores puma? will that be about (does anyone know anything about this car beyond the rumour of its existence).

Terry Moores car is real all right but as to how far from finished it is i dont know.
I saw it about three months ago and it was painted and the cage in.
Engine had also just arrived from the usa as organised by Kent Cams.
2.3 Duratec.

Lydden
Tapscott's Corsa won't be ready in time its first event will be the first RSS event in May.This Corsa is of similar build as Rogers's car with the running gear out of the Nova. This also applies to Manning's new Puma it will also be debuted at Croft.
Not sure about Gollop I heard he won't be racing at Lydden.
Should mark the debut for the Fiesta of Doran.
Howlin will have his old fiesta at Lydden as the new version won't be ready until May.
Sellar should have his 2 car Clio tema up and running by end of March.
Turpin should have his new car, along with Bellerby and Bellamy.

Team Chicken will be there for the drunken Deboarchery on the evening before. And to give you a laugh on the day.

We may have to slum it in a hotel though. The old mans not getting any younger and the Transit (sorry extensive hospitality unit) is cold in March. Theres only so much alcohol a body can absorb to keep the cold out and still function the next day.

Phil.

Hi Poultry - and welcome to Ten-Tenths!

Glad to see you're approaching this in the proper spirit of rallycross!

Normally the BRDA site. Nothing on there at the moment. Usually about 10-14 days before race day so could be posted at the middle to end of next week.

There is a note on the BRDA site that says the entry list will be up on the 22nd - hopefully it'll be a good 'un

I spoke to Christopher Evans the other day and he asked if someone could let him know what races he is suppose to be doing so he can book his flights and get Tony Bardy to have the car ready. And by the way, just for the crack Chris says he might do Lydden.
