It's still listed in the 'for sale' section on www.rallycrossuk.com so I guess it's still up for grabs (the price has dropped a lot since it was first listed but it's still up for £45,000 )

Why is John McCluskey in the 306 and not the Xsara on the BRDA website entry?

Typo I guess!

Also Bill Harbour could be doubtful - big cloud of smoke out of the car at Lydden today..........

Entry looks promising, it should be a good day

Not bad entry, be great to see the new supercars in action, hope Christopher Evans comes over too, bit concerned about lack of Modified cars, hope there will be some extra entries next week.

Entry list looks good.
The new run off area looks safer at the Elbow. Looked short of gravel though.
The tyre wall onto the loose at Paddock looks rather hard, tyres and earth and may affect the line in, but as it wasn't used on Saturday can't really say.
How did it look from a drivers point of view Minicross 424?

Ok some questions as i am slighltly confused:

Have the Championship regulations actually been approved by the MSA? If not then can the event take place? Also i didnt think that a Supercar would be able to be used in the Clubmenss Championship? Also anyone know the format of the event?? Will we have 1 Supercar racing on its own in the BTRDA? Has that Gooding geezer got a restrictor on the Escort? If not then how can it race?

If you compare it with last years, it is very worrying:

BRC entry = 46 cars
BTRDA = 31 cars = 77 cars
14 drivers racing in both, leaving 63 cars for two Championships. how bad. And this is for an event at Lydden. And how confusing.

Having done a bit of research there quite a few missing:
Holfeld, Evans, Bell and Manning from Supercars and I know Gollop's car is about 2 weeks from being complete so don;t expect him to be there.
Watson, Tapscott, Buckmaster, Guest, Stewart, Dixon, Bellamy, Fatchett, Binks, Crampton, Sellar, Bird and Collard, are all missing from supermodified.

Thats just to name a few. I know nearly all cars above are being built and are well off being ready.

Also as per put by a few other people since when did Supercars run in the clubmans championship (doesn't sound very clubman to me!!). Also curious to know how they will manage to get 6 heats and 2 finals for all those drivers doubling up!!?? and how confused the spectators will be seeing a car out twice in the space of the heats.

Hate to think how a driver will feel who is doubling up and paid £275 for there entry, lets hope they get past practice.

I am also very concerned if Lydden can only get 66 official drivers entered how places like Knockhill, Mondello and Angelsey will get on. Knockhill had only 55 cars last year and that included 12 minicross cars..!!

Roll on Lydden..

Well here we are one week away from the first event of the season and the bickering is still going on.
Do we really care if it is promoted by the RSS or the BRDA?
Surely we should be saying that we hope there will be a good turn out for this early in the season and that there are many cars close to completion who should be out for Mondello next month.
I for one will be pleased to see all who turn up at Lydden and will look forward to seeing those who's projects are not yet complete joining the season later.
See you all on the 28th

No we don't, as long as the events are successful & the racing is good it doesn't matter who promotes them.

It looks like the BRDA & RSS are go for this season so lets all try to support both promotions as much as we can.

The entry looks good for Lydden it will be interesting to see who's new car go's best. Will Pat's Fiesta go well straight out of the box or will the Lydden jinx strike again.
Good luck to everyone at Lydden, I wish I was going but unfortunately I can't make it.

There is still time for drivers to get their entries in. I seem to remember a reply to a thread saying that the entry list would not published until the 21st/22nd, and that was published on the 18th. Lets not knock rounds before they have even started, this is not good for the sport and can cause a tiny bit of friction between fellow posters.
Roll on the 28th!!

I know Phil Collard was putting in a new gearbox and hoped to have it finished in time for Lydden, and Alan was building his new corsa but he said it should have been finished in time.
