It does look like it's going to be a spectacular event, but I do wonder at the title of the meeting.
What type of game is Need For Speed? Is it a proper race sim, or is it one where you drive road cars on the streets?

As far as I understand it Need for Speed is a blasting around the streets style of game (game equivalent of something like the Fast and the furious films). I guess it's a good way of drawing people in - there's a fair chance that people wouldn't go to a "drifting" or "time attack" event but call it a "need for speed" event and suddenly a lot more people will know what you're on about. It just looks like targeted marketing to me.
