Anyone here understand Aussie Historic rallying regs?
I downloaded the CAMS regs but there seems to be large gaps in them. Rules say rear axle location must be as production but I've seen Oz Escorts with full group 2 links which obviously weren't production (free under FIA regs up to '76 when homologated in Gp4).
Any ideas? |

If the rear axle was towards the rear of the car, then what's the problem? That's where it was originally located.

Ha! If only it were that simple. In fact, the period FIA regs were that simple but various rule-makers including the FIA have insisted on requiring 'proof of use in period' which has condemned us all to Escort/911 dominated events.
