$15m+, damn, must be some money in sand!!!

Hard to believe the transformation since Prodrive UK sold up.

This is the best bit:

Huge commitment, which no doubt will require diversifying into other categories outside of VASC and DVS to make it a sustainable investment.

No doubt, but also taking the long game, there's money in property development! These guys are not dumb and real racers.

Massive positive commitment to the sport !

Amongst the doom and gloom of the V8 circus this year this is a great story

So only supercars can be built in this new super facility? That's quite specific....

They'll be running 7 cars at Bathurst, out of an already-crammed workshop.

So I guess they could do with some extra room.

Wasn't there chatter previously about a Targa prorgam, and possibly some sort of involvement in AusGT? Either way, they're not doing this just for their VASC/DVS activities. You're a fool if you think they are.

Sand WAS mined at $30 per tonne.
Backfill with landfill is $300 per tonne.

More $$ in filling the hole and less work too

There will soon be no carmakers here to do design work for, so the possibilities are perhaps limited in designing & developing other projects, in production cars or in racing cars..

Surely not a Ford Performance Vehicles Mk2, but without the manufacturer interest or backing...
