To be fair to AGT peckstar, a lot of teams are still finishing off repairs from a chaotic first few rounds I also think the calendar is too elongated for the budgets of most drivers but that second part is only my own opinion.

Not sure why Supercar drivers are any measure of a series strength, but you can say 1 CURRENT Supercar driver, or 10 drivers with varying degrees of Supercar experience.

Nobody has ever said Aus GT3 would be the saviour of anything. People have discussed whether GT3 regs might be the saviour of something in the future perhaps. There is a difference.

Fewer cars than that have started plenty of major 500km enduro's in Australia in the past.

My initial reaction at the entry list was surprise at the number of entries but the quality is still there.

Endurance racing is expensive and despite popular opinion the "gentleman driver" does not necessarily have a bottomless pit of money.

On a lighter note, the parent company of Scud's sponsor has got themselves in a little bother in Brazil. But you have to admire the ambition - if you are going to bribe anyone why not aim for the President of the world's fifth largest company.

Makes the shenanigans of some of Supercars past sponsors, like WPS and Firepower seem like kindergarten stuff.

Needless to say the scandal does not involve the local JBS operation but according to Beef Central the reputation of the other JBS ventures is likely to suffer.
