Don't like both.
I don't like Deegan as a personality, but I rate him at the wheel of a car.

He didn't have a great weekend in Finland last year, so I'd like to see him try a non-GRC rallycross event again.

I have to admit Deegan is a good racer.

Antoine L'estage posted on his Facebook that he is doing the Lites this weekend as a last minute deal with OMSE. For those new to the name Antoine is the top North American rally driver (no offence to Mr. Block) and with a lot less funds has won 4 North American titles as well as numerous Canadian and Rally America titles.

He did some of the early X Games in a Hyundai and a Subaru but isn't a fan of rallycross prefering the stages. From Quebec and very proud of it he will have a lot of support. It will be interesting to see an 'older' driver up against the kids.

Good to see L'estage involved, I've followed his efforts in Rally America and he seems to be a talented driver (apart from when he trashed that Lancer WRC!) so be interesting to see how he does in the fixed specification Lites.

New livery for Villeneuve in Canada:

Definitely no confusion between the Albatec cars now!

Both Albatec 208s run in this livery in Canada.

You did not mention that these are local times.
For the UK this means plus 5 hours, for most of Europe plus 6 hours.

It is great to watch ”Live RX” from Canada. A bit strange to hear the French/Canadian commentators with a distinct American accent though!?! But the commercial breaks???? NOT so good!!

I haven't tried to log in from the UK yet but I have been informed that anyone struggling should check out an app for Google chrome called Hola Better Internet. User friendly and should mean you get to watch live stream in .uk...

http://www.rallycrossrx.com/livestream

Its working fine for me (UK) and there are no adverts.

So for those who watched it, what did you think?

Wasn't that impressed with the track, but I had been expecting a GRC-style track and that's what we got. At least there was plenty of space at the first corner, so no turn one pile ups. The obligatory jumps didn't look quite as hard on the cars as those at Mettet either.

Nice to see Subaru make the semis and a very impressive performance from Patrick Carpentier.

Fantastic driving from Solberg. The long straight really demonstrated how much grunt his car has seems to have once its on the power. Petter had several slow (or maybe cautious) starts, but once the car was on song it seemed to pull everyone else in with ease. Interesting to hear Solberg had rear damper issues at the start of the weekend; is that a problem that has developed due to the temporary nature of the last couple of tracks, or a re-occuring issue he has had for the whole season?

Based on the TV coverage looked I'm keen to see more photos from the final.

These tracks are bit of a joke. Mickey Mouse tracks really with jumps that breaks the cars

Gave it a few races, but couldn't be bothered after that, only good thing then was Tanner in the box.

These GRC tracks leave me cold.

Why on earth do you need a table top? This is not bloody motocross? You are not going to see cars going up one side and over? Utterly stupid and just damaged the cars that are not designed for it.

Jumps are not part of rallycross unless they are natural. PLease for Gods sake can someone tell these cretins?

Two three car heats and two 5 car, garbage. Lets have some realism and if you aint got enough cars stick a guy at the back for Gods sake. this is for tv isnt it? If I wanted to watch 3 car heats I would watch british rallycross!

Forgive the thread bump, but Subaru just released the latest episode of their "Launch Control" series. The main focus of the episode is Sverre and his drive at the seventh round of the World Rallycross Championship:

http://youtu.be/Q7zzb-BEduQ?list=UUw...YsrUcVIJkI6mBA

The latter part of the episode focuses on Sverre at home: Stina also makes an appearance!
