Can you keep the grammer to the queens english and spell check ( i know i am about toget some grief from other posters for that comment! but hey im thick skinned enough) im sure you will have a great following
As much as it annoys me when people fail to use the correct spelling and grammar, I think you need to take a look at your own spelling, grammar and punctuation before you criticise other people.

Chris Wilson should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I used to race against Maurice in the 1275 GT Centre and Gresham sponsored Sports / Saloon / GT series in a BDG engined Elan, and later in a Skoda Special Saloon, it was a buoyant series and people were very friendly. If I recall correctly Maurice was a regular visitor at Motorsport Components in Bolton, Lancashire, where a lot of the old Chevron people hung out, or indeed worked. I still regularly see Dennis and George the fabricator there.

Your rebuild sounds interesting, but rather than make this thread a home to it I agree that linking to a home website that chronicles the build would be more sensible. As for your text speak style of writing, well, I have to admit nothing bugs me more. You obviously take huge pride in your car, and rightly so, with a bit of extra time formulating your posts on here, and the use of a free add on spell checker to your browser, they would be much easier to read and be more in keeping with your engineering pride and care, if you don't mind me saying so? Writing isn't like texting, it's a quite different medium, thank God

Good luck with the car, I remember it well.

can they not make a bigger smiley for big stupid grin!
Tim F prefer splitting the atom to hairs but you missed the point

Lee -respect the old saying "a nod is as good as a wink" and take note of what the wise old men here have to say !!

Many folk here know each other if not by sight from this forum or days of old keep the apple cart upright and let me be the 1 that does the "upsetting" Im more experienced at it and shall we say more subtle ( hence why i had a 7 day stint on "naughty step" as oppossed to a life ban which is where you could quickly head ) so now create a nice website the domain name i would suggest is Costelloescort.com or .co uk.net .org whatever is teh cheapest to buy
If you dont know how to do a webpage ask nicely here and im sure some brioght spark will assist
I am sure in time the regular posters will be reading old autosports and some race results photos artcles will get sent to you once a website email address is up n running

Come on guys; lighten up and check the rules out. In any event, to ensure that we all understand what you are telling us, at least attempt to make it legible!

i feel the age gap might be a issue here? please lee try and use proper English as it makes reading your posts very difficult and some of the older generation may not be able to under stand you

Top Right Hand Corner of the 'box' you reply in.Its marked ABC with a 'tick' under it.

As for the racing,we'll have to wait and see.

It only has a spell checker if you have a dictionary on your PC in something like MS word.
If you use Firefox you can download the necessary tools, not sure about Internet explorer though.
TBH incorrect spelling, grammar and punctuation isn't too much of a problem, loads of posters on tenths are guilty, it's txt spk that is frowned upon and is bloody annoying to most of us.

Now can we get back on topic.
