There have been times when she's been able to apply her medical background to the coverage. Was very much left to her own devices, and wasn't cringe-worthy at all. I feel there's a place for her in the TV package, but the pitlane, in the heat of the monent while a director is shouting prompts, stats and other jargon in her ear, is not it. I wonder how she'd go in the commenatry box, as a third wheel? Perhaps similar to what Mr Noonan has done in the past, but clearly not to the extent of Mr White? |

Pitlane is a thankless job, I think she is doing the best job the situation allows really.
I'm assuming she is fed questions to ask? |

Don't know if it is scripted, but many years ago, and probably today, on many sports shows, the host would get together before going on air and decide who speak about what, who argue the point etc etc, I dare say this still happens,
So what ever the team make up , their roles would already be decided by the production team. I wonder if they view this forum and others to get feedback. |

Ten will deliver the biggest ever Clipsal 500 in its history. Effectively it will be about par of Bathurst. The biggest is on the Saturday and RPM returns on March 6 at 11.30am.

Does the closer collaboration between Fox Sports & V8Supercar Media this year have any effects on the Ch10 presentation of the 6 events they cover themselves?

it would seem so as they are boasting Ten's coverage as a result. Over 21 hours up from 18 last year. Simulcast on the Saturday

I think they're trying to improve the ratings.

Not really, no more v8 racing as a result, the races are already shown. should get more support racing and possibly maybe live instead of delayed qualyfying
Are you suggesting that v8 supercars ahs the power to enforce Ch 10 to show more than there contract? |

Qualifying live on Friday and delayed on Sunday. Maybe Fox Sports is behind it.

I think they would've probably realised the error and put it back to normal. How often has V8 Supercars been wrong about broadcast times? RPM returns with a longer show starting March 13 at 3.30pm.

Instead of what V8 Supercars have proposed of over 21 hours of coverage. Instead its only 18 hours across Ten and Ten HD. Matt White will lead the coverage, with him will be expert commentator Mark Larkham, Nissan driver Rick Kelly, popular Family Feud host Grant Denyer, rev-head model Kate Peck and Ten Sport's Mark Howard.
Shame there is no Mark Webber. |

I am only watching on TEN, but so far with the exception of Race 1 of the V8 Supercars have ended early due to the dreaded time certain finish.
Wouldn't it be better if all support races were simply run up to the time limit? No set las, just run to the time certain finish. |
