There isn't even one Honda running in Superbike. Heck, there are only a very few Honda privateers running in the Sportbike and Supersport classes. Of the Honda riders, Tyler Odom rides for the Erion Honda team and could be a possibility.

Martin Cardenas? Whats he racing these days? He was a 250 racer quite a few seasons back.

Roger Lee Hayden, it was announced today.

The interesting part? Kevin Schwantz will lead the team. He was trying to do a GP deal as a Suzuki privateer not long ago. I wonder if this is a toe in the water effort for next year? Crew will be taken from Erion Honda, which has been Honda's lead Supersport/Formula Xtreme team for the past several years.

While not my favorite Hayden, at least Roger Lee is better on a 600.

Right - is he the one doing WSB this year? Who originally wanted to do Motot 2 but got bumped. Or is this the one who got left at home. Or is that Cleetus...

Cardenas knows better than to look bad on this bike. Let Hayden do it. He's getting on a bike he hasn't ridden, against teams that has been testing and running for almost 6 months. He isn't going to be anywhere near the front. He'll be lucky not to finish last.

Art, what about the Scwhantz factor here? Is he distancing himself from Suzuki?

I think everyone would distance themselves from Suzuki at the moment...

Cardenas races AMA Sportsbike ghinzani - goes good too!

Schwantz is not daft, when you see him around at GP's he is not wearing Suzuki stuff, but Red Bull.

That is a good place to be right now as they get more invovled in youngers riders, Monster also are getting into it, but seem focused on Yamaha and Brits!!

Riger Leee may aswell finish last in GP as WSBK!! To be fair

Kevin is looking to become a team manager somewhere. There was a discussion, I believe that he would have taken over another team. He is very talented, and along the lines of Kenny Roberts, etc., he would help any manufacturer with their product if they were smart enough to listen to him. Some aren't.

Well, add another underwhelming Moto 2 wildcard entry for Indy. Jason Disalvo will be riding an FTR backed by GP Tech.
