Interesting that...

Makes sense for Audi to run a known quantity in terms of drivetrain while developing a new engine for the 2011 rules. Since there aren't going to be any major changes in terms of the chassis come 2011 all they will need to do is upgrade the drivetrain (in theory, i'm not an engineer )

The most glaring oversights for me include the Barazi-Epsilon car being left off - the GAC Zytek is not more deserving, nor is the Radical. No problem with Vitaphone on there though - they are one of the best sportscar teams in the world and have entered the best LMP2 car in the world. Also absurd is the lack of Saleen, but the JLOC Lambo being allowed in. That entry has always proved to be a gong show, and to see Larbre at the bottom of the reserve list given their performance in qually last year is galling.

I think that other than the absence of a Dome (which should have got the entry over Creation IMO, since the latter is not racing elsewhere this year apparently), the P1 list is excellent. Cream rises to the top...

Why do I have a hunch that the AF Corse entry will become the Advanced Eng. Team Seattle car? Yawn.

+1, especially as it seems this will become the premier GT class next year. If not only.

I think you'll see the Creation race this year cmk....

No problem with Vitaphone. They have prooved their worth in FiA GT, and they had a semi-entry last year IIRC with a DBR9

Wow, some big suprisese (for good and bad)

3 R15s? Thought some guys were reporting just 2?
Pescarolo to run a Peugeot. This made me smile, espacially after how critical Henri has been of diesels, and weird timing as well. The disel performance advantage will be gone for this year.
Sad not to see a Dome S102 on the list. Love it or loath it, you cannot fail to admit that car was fast (before it's problems) last year. Sounded great as well.
3 AMRs. Glad to see, hopefully AMR can put up a serious challenge and i hope they haven't overloaded their basket with too many eggs, so to speak.
Vitaphone RS Spyder? Great news! Thought it wasn't going to happen though, that's what DSC were saying on radio le mans last night that it was "unlikely"
4 'vettes, 2 Lambos and 2 Astons? Great to see Jet Alliance of course, should certainly be able to challenge for victory, but a shame not to see any Saleens on the entry list from either ARC or Full Speed Racing or even Labre for that matter.
As much as i adore Ferrari, i have to say we need to balance this out a bit. There is a lot of diversity in GT2 at the moment with Astons, Lambos and M3s. Would have been nice to see a bit more diversity.

Summing up then, a pretty good entry list, excited for the race already!

How sure can we be that Dome (with or without ECOSpeed) actually applied for entry? News at dome.co.jp is only in Japanese and Google translation is too gibberish but I can't see anything referring clearly to Le Mans this year. I know Japanese Samurai's translations in the Toyota thread and that Japanese site (sports-carracing.net) that mentioned oddly LMS, 24LM, last race of ALMS and Fuji+Shangai, but was this stuff official?

The drivers took each other out , not the car . And if you knew the full story , you would realise that it was obviously an accident . Like Enge had , and Kelleners , Bruni , Schumacher , Prost ..... oh wait , they were all Ferrari drivers wernt they !!! ..... But Ferrari's dont do that , you say

We will see if Ferrari are better this year . But Porsche wernt sitting stiltwiddleing their thumbs , or maybe they were ?

Official enough:

Taken from Mariantic about ECOSpeed:

"LMS, Asian LM Series & some ALMS plus LM"

I wonder which chassis Vitaphone will be using?

And I wonder who will drive for Jetalliance? Will they bring back Wendlinger, Sharp & Müller.

Can I assume that "AMR Eastern Europe" will be Charouz's car?

Plenty of Aston LMP1 seats to be filled....

Oreca-Courage, but with the Judd rather than AIM block - don't know whether it will otherwise be in 08 or 09 spec.
