The technical regulation says that the eligible cars' list is based on two Italian magazines: one of them is "Quattroruote", and it reports that the Honda Civic has 1.4, 1.8 and 2.0 version. It starts from 21.100€ for the 1.4 version and arrives to 37.700€ for the 2.0 version.

To make a comparison, the Honda Civic TCR costs 104.000€.

How many horse power?

Not sure it's a good idea to have 3 versions. Why not just one?

This is the source: http://www.quattroruote.it/listino/honda/civic-berlina

1.4 version has 99bhp, 1.8 has 142bhp, 2.0 has 310bhp. TCR version has about 330/350bhp.

It's known that Vaccari Motori will run two Civics 2.0.

The specs you mention are the engines of the street models? For the TCS model it'd make sense to simply put a roll-cage in the TypeR and put some slicks on it.

Yes, street models.

You have exactly described the philosophy of the TCS: there are only a few differences with the street models. I haven't read precisely the regulations yet, but I think the only changes will concern tyres, seats and maybe windows.

It's not like they really had a series or readily available vehicles during the early 2000s, though. Even if they had wanted to go racing, a one-make Cup would have been their only option. (Unless they had a GT4, which not many mainstream brands did)

Josh Files will drive an Opel Astra by Target Competition in the German series. So it's official, Target has switched from SEAT to Opel (even if it's known that Schmarl will run a León for the same team).

I have to correct a thing: the Type-R version is only the 2.0, but also 1.4 and 1.8 versions are eligible.

Apart from that usual Leon's there will be some new and interesting cars:
TCR Class:
-Alfa Romeo Giulietta
-Subaru WRX STi
-Honda Civic

but now very interesting for TCS Class:
-1x Peugeot 308 GTI (2T Course & Reglage )
-1x Volkswagen Polo GTI (Autosport Abruzzo)
-1x Renault Clio RS (BMS Scuderia Italia)
-1x Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV (Scuderia Giudici)
-2x Honda Civic Type-R (Scuderia Giudici)
-2x Honda Civic Type-R (Vaccari Motori)
-1x Honda Civic Type-R (Promo just say by JAS Motorsport)
-1x SEAT León Cupra (SEAT Motorsport Italia)
-2x Alfa Romeo MiTo QV (Tecnodom)
-3x Fiat 500X (Tecnodom)

Any guesses on the distribution of the TCS cars across the various sub classes?

I'd guess the Type-Rs and the Cupra will be 2 Liters, so that's 6 cars right there.
The Peugeot, the Polo and the Clio are 1.6 Liters, and the Alfa Mito and the Fiat 500X would be in 1.4.
Wonder what that means for Guidici's Alfa - will he be scored with the 2 Liter cars if he's the only entrant in the 1.8 Liter subclass?

There are list on link i provided
It say:
2.0 for 308, Leon and Civic
1.8 for Clio
1.4 for Polo, Mito and 500X
Also Guest car is Citroen C2 Max http://www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=23339
Classes are somehow out of range, but maybe they will be sorted after performance rather then liters?

I think that ACI will try to balance all cars as much as they can, because TCS has also an overall classification. I hope there won't be too much arguments about that.

I'm curious about 500X, it's a mini-SUV that will run side by side with hatchback cars, seems strange but maybe not so foolish.
