2016 Japanese Super GT
Here is a new thread to discuss about the next Super GT season. As the calendar has the same circuits in order, it doesn't look too bad for me.
As the GT500 champion Nismo will continue to use number 1 , but they will resuffle the driver lineup , and for GT300 Team Gainer will use number 0 for Nissan GT-R GT3.

I think so , Ito will be replaced by Kazuki Nakajima .
As Yuichi Nakayama (apr driver) , I hope he will stepped up in GT500 by replacing Kohei Hirate in Team Sard (predict only)

That would be out of the blue seeing Nakajima left Super GT to concentrate on Super Formula & WEC. I haven't heard anything about him giving up either of those so I doubt he'll be back in SGT next season.
Ryo Hirawaka seems like to good shout to replace Ito though (who is almost certainly on his way out).

Dr. Takamori (DIJON #48) says the rumour that new team participation and multi car participation would be restricted in GT300 next season.
GTA would like to restrict the participation of unexperienced team in GT300 class.

You means dijon racing (#48) and LM Corsa will only run in one car in the next season, or upgarage bandoh (#20) or the other uncompetitive team ( e.g PACIFIC RACING TEAM (#9) , Rn-Sports (#111) ) and so on force them to withdraw the race if the result is poor.

Hello,
This year i visited japan to go to Super GT at Fuji speedway in May. It was so good i want to come again in 2016, best car racing in the world!
The calendar says the race is 3-4 May 2016. Is that correct? 3 May is a tuesday, so it sounds wrong. I was expecting it to be on a saturday- sunday. Can someone tell me if that 3-4 May 2016 is correct please?

Regarding GT300 team participation, I think it's best if some of the weaker teams should race in a few rounds instead of the whole season?
Of course, it's sad that I won't see Pacific Racing Team's μ's-branded McLaren. Maybe Sunrise, Lantis, and ASCII Media Works should put their sponsorship to a competent team.

For the TGRF Festival, Toyota Gazoo Racing put all reports on http://tgrf.jp/report/. So many unique racing cars especially from the past.

I'm mostly thinking that Kazuki Nakajima will stay in WEC full-time until he decides to return back to racing in Japan.
And another question, is any driver going to retire after 2015? Satoshi Motoyama and Yuji Tachikawa can retire if they want to, but I'll think they'll stay for another year so they'll have a total of 20 years in Super GT.

I think GT300 class has large gap between top teams and underdog teams so it's logical for that restriction. Besides that, number of garages on circuits can be another issue.
And I saw Super GT's racing video at several years ago with Dr. Hiroshi Takamori racing under "Takamori.com" pseudonym. Is he that unique?
