HornetV8 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Fantastic weekend, thankfully the rain held off untill after the last race, good to see Neil Browns rebuilt Cortina out to play after Thruxton, certainly wasn't expecting to see that one

Really enjoyed some of the close racing action, looking forward to going back to Cadwell again, managed to get lots of nice sunny photos this weekend

My only gripe is with the Classic F3 guys...youve only gone and got me intersted in yet another aspect of historic motorsport

What's happened to all the Anglias Robyn? There used to be loads, and Cadwells a happy hunting ground for them too from memory.

You certainly did! Well done, Robyn.

My weekend was crap, unfortunately (except for the company on Saturday evening).

Have you seen the second touring car race video on post 36 of the Cadwell thread over on the marshall's section of the forum. There's a lot of your car shown as it's from Steve Platts' car and it's a great showcase for HRSR racing at it's best and not a V8 to be seen after the first few seconds.

I guess that Justin's engine is one of yours, Joe. The G4 is a lovely car and so evocative of 1960s racing.

What sort of power do you get from 1500cc pre-crossflows?

Joe, I agree ! Justin Murphy's Ginetta has been on the verge of finding form in HRS for some time - I think it is a great result for him. Sounds like he has got to do some work on the gearbox after Cadwell, though (no 1st & 2nd gear and the gearknob detached early on !). Makes his performance all the more outstanding.

Great photos Andrew. Unfortunately I missed the meeting due to family commitments. It's my favourite meeting at our best circuit and knocks spots off any other club meeting in my book.

shredded blocker bars and mangled synchro assembly, I'm surprised it stayed working. all rebuilt now with a set of solid blockers new baulk rings and some much nicer looking synchro hubs.
