Lydden 6th September - Festival of Motorsport (DMN, TinTops, Intermarque)

We only have 4 weeks until this meeting...and so only a week until the closing date for entries.

This is going to be a great meeting...we have long circuit racing in the morning with DMN, The Cannons Tin-Tops and The Chris Knott Intermaque League.

Tin-Tops - If there is 10 cars or more then you will get your own pair of races. We have 6 cars already so we're close...badger all your friends to make sure they enter!

In the afternoon we have a selection of oval series including The Outlaw Hotrods, Baby Grands (now known as MASCAR) and of course we have the Trucks running on the 3/4 circuit...this year we will be setting of 6 in each of the races!

DMN will have split grids, although not sure what the split will be at the moment as we're waiting for the numbers to come up a bit.

BARC regs have always shown tin tops racing on Sept. 6th and Oct.4th at Lydden, plus Nov.9th at Brands. This was put in Brief Torque magazine as well, along with the BARC website. The back page of the Lydden programme on June 29th also carried an advert for Sept. 6th which showed tin tops, along with the poster that was at signing on.

Whats the Tintop Entry now Chezza ? I'm already double booked on that day (non motor racing) but if the car comes back from Germany in one piece, either my brother (Greystone) or Phansa88 are welcome to borrow the car.

Does anyone know if the cars will be morning or afternoon, I wouldn't mind doing the Tin Tops (depending on whether uncle E pulls rank or not) but I have to work for a couple of hours that day.

Last year the cars were in the morning and the oval stuff in the afternoon - from Chez's first post it looks like that's the same this year.

There are plenty of DMN spaces available, its our meeting and so split grids so we can run 48 cars.
