Technically an Elise is not eligible.

Regs state:

The event will consist of one class and is open to road equipped cars of any age with a capacity of greater than 1949cc (or 1495cc if supercharged/turbocharged) although pre-1931 and PVT cars of over 1495cc may enter

So Rudolfs car is supercharged!

Answers that.

Who really cares it's a giggle and they changed the regs years ago to stop the Talbots winning and now all you need to know is which of the thousand Nash's will win.

That can't be correct as they only made 300/400 originally!
Sorry for my mistake.

I live just down the road in Luton, and have entered my EOS 500D Canon, recently serviced by the manufacturer, so I expect to be well on the pace.

I will look out for any fellow contributors.

It is subsequent posts that makes the question relevant, ie may we now assume Rudernst's Elsie IS supercharged?

Do keep up, there's a good chap.

Not to my satisfaction

Will you be at the meeting in any capacity? If so do let me know so that I do not run into you and precipitate a ruckus.

I could be tempted into buying you a cup of tea.

Cheers,

Bob.

No, not at the Pom. I will be at the Historic Race Car show at Stoneleigh on Friday. Probably lurking near the HSCC stand. Always ready for a cup of tea.

JR has answered the question, yes

what has ocurred to me
a few years ago, the POM was won by a HRS.
that is a Singer engined HRG.
now the Singer engine could barely stretch to 1500 cc
no way it went to 2 litres

was that winning HRS supercharged, and if not at least handicapped as supercharged ?
BTW: if you pay the price for of the higher handicap for supercharging without having the actual performance gain, would that matter ?

Relativetortoise did pretty well this year with his Cortina I see, and his 'second' car did even better with a first class award.

Rudernst and that Elise?

Maybe would should throw a veil over the whole thing. Mind you it was nice to say hello to him.

Sunny but cold and a small entry meant only two High Speed Binds so we were able to leave early. If any other members were out I may have a shot or two if they get in touch.

Spring Start next.

Bob.

Are there any results available for this event? I've been on the VSCC website but nothing there that I could see.

Results are provisional currently and in the members section - once they go final I expect they will released.

A good bloke won just needs to change his taste in cars!

Last thing I need is a Nash,

Most of the people who have them are less than 5 ft 6 inches tall!

Especially those weird chain driven things but there seems to be a good market as there are twice as many now as in period!

People who never had a Meccano when they were young to get over the fixation.

Obviously need to change the Pom regs again

Must enter a car one year but it is at a time of the year when weather is crap.
