Wet races in 2011 (or lack thereof)

Has this season been the driest of recent times?

Has there been a wet race this year?

I don't think it has been the driest. If I recall, 2009 only had 2 wet races - Malaysia and China.

Here's hoping Brazil will be wet in 2 weeks time!

I would have liked to have seen a few more wet races this year, but it didn't happen. Still, Canada was a very exciting wet weather race. Probably the best race of the current season.

Eventually . Actually there was enough rain in Canada to make every race this season wet if we could only have shared it out.

There was so much rain, we were using shovels to try and move it. Albeit unsuccessfully until it abated.

It rained so hard in Montreal that the resident groundhogs were seen wearing life preservers.

I seem to remember that it was a pretty good race when it was bone dry the year before. Perhaps even the best race of that season, maybe?

Canada 2010 was a fantastic race; with all the graining problems that teams had. A dry Canada 2011 would probably have only matched it though; rather than surpass, given that this year's Pirellis don't seem to grain much.
