Jay should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

I am going to Montreal for the Canadian GP. I just got my ticket today, and would like a cheap hotel in the city.

I live a 2 hour bus ride from Montreal, so if I cannot get a hotel, I will have to take the bus to come home each night. Which could be a little tiring.

Anyone know of a cheap hotel in Montreal that might still have rooms available?

Jay, I started looking for a Hotel in February and was told it was already too late!
Fortunately, I got the name of a B&B off the Web and secured rooms for my Dad and Myself. Your best bet is to be persistant and to try Bed and Breakfasts. I suspect that you will have better luck the farther you get from Downtown.

Jay

I think I remember reading a post somewhere and someone said they stayed in University accomodation.

I think the Uni rents out student accomodation over the Summer, you might want to try following it up as well as the YHA?

Jay, I don't know what hotels might still be available, but look for one near the Metro line. That will make transportation much easier. BTW, I am driving from Ottawa on the Friday to Montreal. If you nead a ride, let me know.
