I've entered my black car (Camaro Z/28 IROC) in class B, thats a definite (as can be) because it is sitting here on the button ready to rumble!

Entry is in, just waiting for confirmation now.

Completed the first test at Snetterton last week and broke my old lap record, (FL 1m22.20 sec and consistently in the 1m22's throughout the day with a 5-10mph headwind on Revett Straight) so i'm pretty happy that things are going in the right direction at last! My goal is to get the Fiesta into the 1m21's.

Brands should be good. I think we will all be on it!

Jason.

I should be there in the Ashtray (took entry in by hand to BRSCC) if I get the new management up and running.(Class C)

Cousin has entered ( Class C) in my old Fiesta

Brothers Tomcat won't be ready for the first round.(Class B)

Assuming that I pass my medical on wednesday p.m.

Blimey Allan you are cutting it fine, I sent my licence application in and they recieved it on the 14th and I phoned them yesterday before entering a CTRCC pre-73 Historics round at Snett on the 2nd April and they recon they will be posting it out on the 28th March, all a bit tight for me I like things planned in advance.

With reference to Rod's answer to another post on clutchs but not wishing to Highjack, are they rolling starts at the Brands GP round?

I might have to pay the extra to get it turned around quickly - too much on at the moment - Sold house last week, wife should be coming out of hospital today (nothing too serious) and car to finish - should have done more over the winter !

Yes Brands is a rolling start. 42 entries. List should be published soon. All the usual suspects have entered, including the guys above. The only notable ommision at this stage is Richard Brent. The list will be on my website soon, followed by the BRSCC site.

richard will on holiday, i dont think he could twist his wifes arm enough to break off a holiday early two years running, still it will make it even more exciting silverstone onwards as we see him try to catch mad dog up in the points battle

Al.
Could be interested - I'll have a chat at Brands on the 15th. Managed to fire up the Astra between Hospital visits this afternoon - pops and bangs a bit, but filter was not fitted, and a couple of sensors still to connect.

Might be tempted to enter my second race in fourty years, will try not to spin inpractice and the race this time, be nice to see all the familiar smilling faces again though.

I'm also waiting confirmation.

New oil tank fitted, doesn't appear to blow a drop out of the breather after holding it at 5500rpm for 20 seconds. But what it does, is leak like a sieve out of the back of the inlet manifold. I just hope I don't have to strip off the inlet because that means a new gasket, and that'll have to come from the 'states. Let alone have to take the engine out. Darnit!

At least my new gearbox should be here in time for Brands.

Rob.
