flagwaver should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Barbon 12th May

Just back from Barbon, what a funny meeting. Damp in the beginning, One heavy shower a few smaller ones and thankfully sunshine after lunchtime for the timed runs.

Entries were a bit on the low side, but still made for a good meeting. Even though there was no butty wagon there first thing in the morning.

Unfortunately I can't tell you who got the fastest times etc., because I couldn't hear the PA that well.

Good to see Hamish in the runoff
Buttie wagon thought the event was on a different day ( a few frantic phone calls to get him out of bed and there were made in the morning)

It was a bit strange having breakfast at 11:45!

Where were you stood so that you couldn't hear the Tannoy? The only trouble I had was when a car went past!

The problem with the entries was due to the Harewood meeting the following day NOT being a Leaders round. The bulk of the non-starters at Barbon fell into this category.

I was sat in the Rescue Unit, so that was mainly why I did not catch all the commentary.
