[DTM] Round 4. Eurospeedway. 16-18 May.
The fourth round of Audi-Mercedes battle. Stuttgart cars are lighter and the track suit them very well, but Scheider knows something that others don't know
I make tables for Russian forums, so I tried to gather some information. All the drivers have driven their best laps in the second test session. |

Paul on pole!! First DTM-pole for him. Spengler is second, and it's going to rain tomorrow. So, it's going to be a great race!

Mercedes has a great mechanical traction (Audi has aerodynamic traction). And the surface of the track is smooth. It's going to be a Mercedes race. If Stuttgart wins the race,at Norisring 08 cars will have the same weight. Maybe,it's even better for Audi.

Gary Paffett slowly making his march to the back of the grid, this is horrifying!
Also the slowest of the factory supported drivers in '07 spec cars and slower than Albers in '06 spec car! Anybody have facial picture(s) of Paffett that shows true disappointment on his face? His F1 dream is slowly dying, come to America Gary we'll put you in a Indy Car or an ALMS car, you deserve better! The "youth" movement is on at "Pointed Star" you should jump ship before your career is further tarnished! |

He'll be the best Merc'07 driver after the finish I think (if there're no accidents). No doubt he's the fastest in Persson/Mucke.

I'm not so sure. He's been beaten by both Ralf and Maro already this year, so he is hardly a bright shining star above all other 07 Merc drivers.

This was my first DTM live event. I enjoyed it very much, and it was a great drive from Paul di Resta. Him aside I think Winkelhock provided all the entertainment, and the Schumacher/Lauda scrap in the final third.
Was anyone else there? The VW Polo and European Superkart races that took place afterwards were marginally more exciting - but I enjoyed the DTM, and lost my hearing in the process! |
