was this the car that had the face full of grass? when tandy was driving? probably overheated the front brakes from the off track trip and lack of cooling

Lot of lucky people who all managed to miss the 54.
Less luck for 85 and 57 |

Man all that close racing got to close right when we thought the 85 missed a big shunt with the 54 spinning across.

Amazed how cleanly the rear of the 85 was removed.

Blah. Sucks for jdc. Not sure who was at fault. Hard racing again. Pagenaud almost had a rough time through esses.
This is why they throw the yellows so quick sometimes. Drivers won't slow down and it gets worse. |

Have to say, Pagenaud has been a little disappointing compared to Montoya and Helio. Maybe playing it very safe.

Just saw the replay. The 85 was sitting in the middle of the track. There was a waved yellow in the corner before and who slowed down? Nobody ...

Even if pagenaud would be quickest with proper setup, makes more sense to set up for two full time guys for next year for experience. Handicaps pagenaud a little, maybe, but that's not as important. This is just speculation though. Pagenaud could be having a disappointing run. I just think so highly of him I'm trying to come up with an explanation.

the driver in 24 is an idiot. Laps down and *deliberatly* driving into the side of other cars.

It's like there's something in the water today. He's just driving normal for today. He just hasnt adjusted for being laps down. It's crazy.

So you are discovering now Martin Tomzyck, this behaviour was continuous in the DTM where he also had official protection from his father, the head of the DMSB. It was typical to hit others and the others receive a penalty.

31 / 5 / 90 / 6 pit.
Seems like the ESM cars got at least one lap better fuel mileage? |
