The Tool Man should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Mix it up in Practice !!!!

Ive finally been able to obtain the times for the Carrera Cup Practice today at PI. Id have thought that even with the rain there would still be a vast difference in speed and times between the Porsches and the V8's.

But they were pretty close, heres some food for thought had the V8's and Porsches been in the same Practice session the results would have looked like this. (Porshes marked with P)

Greg Murphy 1:49.09
Jim Richards 1:49.27 P
Marcus Marshall 1:50.44 P
Peter Fitzgerald 1:50.58 P
Mathew Coleman 1:51.22 P
Marcus Ambrose 1:51.41
Max Wilson 1:51.70
Peter Hill 1:51.88 P
Paul Pedersen 1:51.90 P

Gee, will Tony like the Porsches going almost as quick as his beloved V8 Supercars. They might have to be nobbled now for the next race.

Hrmmm, gotta keep in mind that there were different drying conditions for both classes, so comparisions have to be taken with a grain of salt..
