Mosport August 16-18 ALMS

Two weeks, time to start planning...

Liz, I know you'll be there.

I'll be with the Globalstar/Westove Racing Club contingent infield between turns 7 and 8.

Anyone else?

I can only make it for Sunday and I usually start out on the infield of turn 3 then make the rounds. If you see a red SS 454 pickup with a colour matched cap and nice rims just give a yell.

Come up to Corner 2 and have a beer. I'll be there or in the paddock or media centre; after the racing stops for the day I'll be round the bonfire.

Or drinking up Paul's beers.

I'm working either post 5 or 9, but staying in Scarborough, so need to check bonfire early. Is this the one by the marshals sign on hut Liz or a private one in the paddock camp site?

Bonfire would be at T2 infield, if I'm not mistaken. We'll be having a smaller campfire at infield T7 (ish). But we'll be dropping by T2 to get beery (if we aren't beery already).

It'll be a cultural exchange between the camps!

Paul's right, it's up at the top of T2 near the flag pole. Follow the sound of the drums.

I'll be there, but not sure where yet. Probably near some showers/restrooms. My dad is driving a maroon GMC Sierra Stepside with New York plates.

Weather update:

Friday - chance of thundershowers, high 27C
Saturday - variable cloudiness, high 30C
Sunday - a few showers, high 27C

A typical Mosport weekend.
