Ramblings about forum progressions during the season
Ramblings about forum progressions in the 2012 GP2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition:
Autosport: First rookies, then good ones, and now the greatest. Despite they had Makarias as runner-up in the contention of the title, they were the best group that finished with Forums Championship for the first time in their history in th Competition. Dispenser89, sir jackie walker and scheivlak were also round winners. Great thanks for the support given to the Competition from this very respectable forum. Nextgen-Auto: Clearly the are moral winners this year. Thanks for the full support by Azur, our official French translator, the Competition ran at full speed in the Francophone section of this forum. She was also the best scorer of the forum and round winner; masahiro, albertascari and SUTIL80 were also round winners. Chapeau for the great effort they did struggling for the Forums Championship, did great battle until the same end. Ten-Tenths: The core forum of GP2 TWPC was unlike previous editions... They simply struggled in the quantity of players. The eternal Daisy was her best scorer and round winner, and also chunterer and mllevy won rounds, wonder if the latter would not have abandoned the Competition at mid-season. Los Tuercas: Another year with no Argie racers on GP2, despite races televised on Argentina, made the participation being the same as last year, albeit mantained a core of Four regular concursants who retained an honourable fourth place. I was the best of the pack, and facha was the sole round winner of the forum. Great thanks for Los Tuercas for all the attention to the Competition done all over the year. CarAndDriverTheF1: Caused by the few presence of Spanish drivers in the series, the interest of this forum plummeted this year after first rounds. pelagra and renaultargentina were round winners. Great thanks to F1wingwins with the collaboration and support he did to the Competition this year, albeit not as fruitful as in previous seasons. ClubF1: This Spanish forum shined again, despite low participation. Josef1 was the Champion, but only he and Marcos_F1 won rounds, and few more followed their strong pace during the season. F1Latam: This forum kept the same amount of interest than previous season. The consistent IVAN was their only round winner and third in the general stats, and El Pana was the only other one that performed well during the season. F1Revolution: Despite new forums incoming into competition generally have a question mark, their participation was discreet but remarkable. They were the rookies of the year with the strong participation of Hectorg, round winner like the other newcomer, telmex. Grand Prix Chile: They continued the tiny form of participation as they did in previous seasons. johnfredrick was their best scorer and round winner, but also BeckMax made a round appearance. ForoCompetición: After the brief appearance of joansm, their only scorer, the competition was void due to lack of interest among their users. Thus that make it a farewell to them at least for this moment of the forum instance. In an aftermath, the season showed consistency in the number of players, despite GP2 isn't a novelty and many drivers are almost unkown to the users. The increase of quantity of places to predict had arisen the scores up to 20 points, two times this year. Fortunately, it was TV presence in Latin America, so people of forums of those latitudes could see the races during the year. But after all, we have to show gratitude to many users who trusted and put consistence to participate in this Competition. About 2013 Autosport, Nextgen-Auto, Ten-Tenths, Los Tuercas, CarAndDriverTheF1, and ClubF1 are ensured to continue; the rest will be put in consideration. Alas, we're opened to new forums to join - If you are in a forum where is interest on GP2 Series and want our Prediction Competition running there, give notice to us! On a last note, you may have noted there is a FR 3.5 Two Worlds Prediction competition alongside GP2 one - that is cause that both series are the main feeder series of F1, regarding drivers. These politics are keen to continue in 2013. As we said before, the key name of the competition is "Two", since that number refers that the nature of the Two Worlds Prediction Competitions are following the predictions of the most important runner-up formula series which are under Formula One. |
