I must have picked it up back in the early eighties when our business computer on which the disc drivers were moved by sophisticated rubber bands. At that time we used various programmes which required different operating systems, one being MS-Dos and the other being CP/M, and one had to flip between the floppy discs for each depending on what programme we needed to use.

And people still go on about the good old times!
Yes that's what gets em every time. As someone once said.

Yes I did comment on that on the MotoGP thread.
Although I do rate him I think he should be banned from the next race !

Certainly better than Australia but hardly riveting stuff after the first few laps and the last part.

Don't know how good the highlights were, but I watched it live and found something of interest for most of the race........so I'd say "Yes, you did...."

I don't normally watch these days but after Donington we went to elder daughter's for dinner and they had it on. So I ended up half watching it from a point just before Vettel passed Hamilton.

Then there was Kimi's pit stop.

Something appearing to flying off Bottas's car. His efforts to catch Vettel when they realised that the Ferrari was not planning to stop again and, in my Son-in-Laws opinion, Bottas bottling the one chance he would get to get pass on the last but one lap when he was close enough for the overtaking bonus card thingy to come into play.

Still, it's a long year. Plenty of time for something to happen eventually.

Maybe one for your 'TV diary' if you're interested in the new UK aircraft carrier (without aircraft of course).

How I love the UK- drive across Spain and back without any sign of a problem, get to the M3 and stuck..... Ask any pan-euro trucker now, and they will say how they hate driving here.... It really is beyond a joke nowadays!

I love it down here, no potholes very little traffic (what's a traffic jam ) ? Oh I did get held up the other day by some slow pedestrians on a crossing, it shows I'm English as the Spanish never stop to let anyone across.
Beautiful driving conditions on billiard table top roads all paid for by EEC money
