2005 Sportscar Fantasy Challenge Round2 Monza(fia Gt)
ENTRY LIST here
some of the teams have not finalized driver lineups. I waited until the last possible moment to post this.. So, my opinion would be to wait until Wednesday or Thursday morning and pick your picks.. Because a lot of teams have yet to confirm their lineup.. But, Konrad has confirmed their lineup, but its not on the list. Unoffically, its Uwe Alzen/Emanuele Naspetti in N4 and Walter Lechner Jr/Franz Konrad in N5. But that lineup can change, especially with the rumors of Jean-Marc Gounon wanting to race with Konrad this year... RULES FOR THE FIA GT RACE (LG RACE OF ITALY) APRIL 10TH -Pick the polesitter and fastest lap for each class (GT1 and GT2) -Pick the top 8 in GT1 class (will be divided into 1-3 and 4-8) -Pick the top 3 in GT2 class NOTE: Ignore the G2 Mosler in the race. Theres no fair way to put that car in the challenge, so i decided to keep it off (for now, unless that class gets 3 or more entrants for a race) Points Rundown 10pts = 1st 8pts = 2nd 6pts = 3rd 5pts = 4th 4pts = 5th 3pts = 6th 2pts = 7th 1pt = 8th 5pts = Correct Polesitter or fastest lap For the Top 8, it is split up into 2 groups, 1-3 and 4-8. So if you pick one car to finish 3rd, and it finishes 2nd, you will still get the points. However, if you pick a car to be in 1st place, where it finishes 4th, you will get no points. same as last year. Any questions on rules, feel free to ask. i probably explained it in a confusing way lol... NEW DEADLINE FOR MONZA ENTRIES IS FRIDAY APRIL 8TH AT 11:00 PM GMT TIME (UK TIME ZONE). so thats 5:00 PM USA CST time
this has been changed, since Friday practice has been cancelled. |

deadline is still friday, even though there will be a test session on Thursday. I personally did not see that coming, and thats why i changed it to Friday.. But then if i change the deadline to Wednesday night, it would be too soon for everyone, so i will keep it friday night 11:00 PM CET.
and everyone should get an idea of whos fast and who isnt from the Thursday test session, so it should make this challenge even closer! |

Why not put the Mosler in with the GT2 cars. That's what it is. The only reason its in a G2 is because of numbers or cars, not performance.

I did so bad
 and to think what could have been. first I was looking at the entry list, and thought: "well, Lamy is driving the Larbre Maranello. let's put him in third,after the saleenq." then I looked at the test results, and went "wait a sec, the larbre is off the pace, let's put the Russian car in its place"... and then the larbre with Lamy wins the thing
