Pretty much everyone does big exams at 15-16. We call ours GCSE's (General Certificate of Secondary Education), and once we've done this, our education officially ends. I'd say about half of those who pass all there GCSE's then go on to Upper School, for two years, at the end of the first year, you do AS's, and at the end of the second, A2's, which add up to a whole A-Level. After this, you may or may not go on to University.
I find it quite interesting to find out what other people have to endure at school, it's one of those things everyone has to do, and therefore have in common with people.
Completely off topic, but I doubt anyone will care too much

I've often wondered how the northern hemispere came up with this calendar, and then had everything that runs as a 'year' go from mid-year to mid-year. Seems like it was designed to confuse people
I went through School Certificate in 5th form (15/16yo), 6th Form Cert., and then Bursary in 7th form (equivalent to your A levels I guess). Of course this has all changed in the 5 years since I was there. Year ran from February to November with 2 weeks between 4 terms. Nice big holiday in the sun over Xmas.
University is better. 4 x 6week terms, anything from 2-4 weeks inbetween, and nearly 4 full months off over Xmas!

Satisfy your thirst for knowledge, p?

Your street circuit looks pretty good, Antro. I think I'm gonna have a go on a street circuit, too. I'd like to do one with more detail, though, like run-off, tire barriers, bridges, etc. Now THAT's a challenge.

LOL! Yes, i guess it does. I think you'll find we both "end" the "year" with a big holiday when it's sunny. In NZ, that comes over christmas, but remember here, summer is really june-september, so that's when we have our summer holiday... And it's not at all confusing to us

lol, no... Jeez, i cant imagine having summer at xmas!

@ pirenzo, pretty similar to Denmark, exams at 15/16 years, though, you can choose to take another year... Then you can go many places... You can choose to be all finished, you can take an normal education ("Gymnasium", three years), and you can take different variations of technical and financial schools (HTX, HF, HH, HTK)... Then theres different small thingys, most important would be agricultural school, Musical Gymnasium and then theres a couple of others...

Then, after this, theres another exam, and then, you can go hundreds of places to educate, amongst them, university, seminarium (to be a teacher), teologic university (priest), Jura (judge, lawyer), SoSu Education (Doctor, nurse and that sector) and lots of others...

Back to the trax, Antro, yours look very good, it is really best to do a city you know, because then you know, if things can be done...

Aalborg Seaport Circuit, in Aalborg, 30 km.´s north of where i live... Runs clockwise...

As Aalborg is a town i know very well, it IS possible to do this track...

First, the legend:

Red: Track (as always)
Yellow: Runoff (Prolly gravel, it has to be removeable)
Blue: Stands
Green line: Ultrastrong barriers
Dark Grey: Paddock
Black: Housing

Both the stands and the gravel has to be removeable, cos its quite simply sitting right on the road...

The track is, i think, very nice!

That's a pretty cool track, indeed. What's the dark grey bit in between the start-finish straight and the pit lane? You might want to have another grandstand there.

Oops. Sorry.

So you could actually use the terrain for grand stands as well? Just make sure that they're up at two or three meters, so that you can still walk underneath. Cool!

or how about building the racetrack over the main roads, so you can use both at the same time, and give the people watching from the 3rd floor a better view

I revised my Las Vegas street circuit, cut it down to 2.7 miles.

I've also taken the liberty of doing some work on Chaynes' track. I thought it was very good.

By the way, I did this pic with PSP 8 which I just started using. Even easier than 6 and 7!
